During the entire month of April, Skagit Valley is exploding with colorful fields of tulips drawing people from far and wide. I had a busy April with several art shows, so I finally took a trip out to the RoozenGaarde Display Gardens on May 2nd thinking that the tulips were probably through flowering. Not at all. Because we had a late blooming season this year the tulips were still beautiful. It was nice because going on a weekday and after the busy peak season, there was no traffic and no crowds. It was perfect for photographing the display gardens and the fields. I hope you enjoy some of the photographs that I was able to capture.
